Responsibilities

Hands-on manual investigation and reproduction of functional frontend software issues.
Root cause analysis of existing test script failures.
Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage.
Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
Documentation and design test scenarios.

Requirements

3 years+ of frontend QA engineering experience
Experience with testing the design by layouts (Figma).
Backend testing experience is a great bonus.
Full cycle testing from designing manual tests, developing scripts, preparing the test environment and execution.
Familiar with test environment construction by CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab).
Familiar with Git.
Scripting ability using Java is a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills

1. What information do we collect?

We collect a range of information about you. This includes:

your name and contact details, including email address and telephone number;
details of your qualifications, skills, experience and employment history;
information about your current level of remuneration, including benefit entitlements;
information about you that may be contained in publicly accessible sources (e.g. LinkedIn).
any personal data that you provide to us by email, by any other communication means.

We collect this information in a variety of ways. For example, data might be contained in application forms, CVs or resumes, obtained from your passport or other identity documents, or collected through interviews or other forms of assessment.

We may also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as references supplied by former employers.

Data will be stored in a range of different places, including on your application record, in HR management systems and on other IT systems (including email).

2. How will the firm use information about you?

We will use the personal information we collect about you to:

assess your skills, qualifications, and suitability for the role;
carry out background and reference checks, where applicable;
communicate with you about the recruitment process;
keep records related to our hiring processes;
comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

The legal bases that we rely on to process your personal data are (i) our legitimate interests, namely that it is in our legitimate interests to make hiring decisions; and (ii) taking steps to decide whether to enter into contractual relations with you.

Having received your CV and cover letter, we will process that personal data to decide whether you meet the basic requirements to be shortlisted for the role. If you do, we will decide whether your application is strong enough to invite you for an interview. If we decide to call you for an interview, we will use the personal data you provide to us at the interview to decide whether to offer you a contractual engagement with us.

If you fail to provide information (including personal data) when requested, which is necessary for us to consider your application (such as evidence of qualifications or work history), we will not be able to process your application successfully. For example, if we require a background check or references for this role and you fail to provide us with relevant details, we will not be able to take your application further.

3. Who has access to data?

Your information will be shared internally for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes members of the HR team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, other recruitment decision-makers and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data may be shared with the following third parties for the purposes of processing your application:

former employers to obtain references for you;
third parties that are our suppliers, for example, we may engage a supplier to support us with the recruitment and application process for the contractual role that you have applied for. Any such suppliers will be subject to legal and contractual obligations designed to protect your personal data, including the requirement to process your personal data only in accordance with this Privacy Notice;
other companies that are affiliates of us. We may share your personal data with our affiliates in the day to day running of our business.

4. Where is your data stored?

Your personal information is stored on cloud services provided by Amazon. Amazon Privacy Notice is available at https://aws.amazon.com/privacy. Physical copies of recruitment data (such as interview notes) will be stored securely.

Your personal data may be transferred to and stored in a jurisdiction other than your own and outside the USA, the UK and the European Economic Area (“EEA”), by us, our affiliates or by our suppliers. Whenever we transfer your personal data outside of the USA, the UK and the EEA, we will ensure an adequate level of protection by any of the recognised methods of transfer, including but not limited to entry into the standard contractual clauses for the transfer of personal information to processors established in third countries.

5. For how long do we keep your data?

Unless we have a legitimate reason for retaining it for longer, we will retain your personal data for a period of 24 months after we have communicated to you our decision about whether to appoint you to the contractual role. We also retain your personal data for that period in case a further opportunity arises in the future for which you would be a suitable candidate. After this period, we will securely destroy your personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

8. What if you do not provide personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
